How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
First of all, my new goal is to build a new house for me and my children so that we can leave my big brother's house. We've lived here since 2003 when the war forced us out of our comfort zone. In addition, I've been making small cassava farm and now my goal in that direction is to increase productivity, add more cash crops to my farming and on a larger scale too.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has changed my life, made my dreams to come true and for that I'm grateful. There is certainly no bad thing I can think about on the part of GiveDirectly and her staff.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought zinc for my house project as well as support my children in school. More to that, I have procured 2 acres of farm land and paid to clear the bush in preparation for planting season.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the GiveDirectly Cash transfer I intend to send my daughter to college in Harper City. She graduated from high school last year but due to financial constraints she's unable to attend college. I really want my daughter to go to college because she's the only girl child that I have,More besides if she is educated she will able to provide for the family . Although I make farm but the money I earn from the farm is what I spend on food and pay school fees for my two children in secondary School.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last month what has brought me joy or happiness is when my Friend Evelyn gives me rice that cost 1500.00 Liberian Dollars in August 2021.I was happy for what she did for me because I was unable to go on the farm to harvest cassava and sell to buy rice because my son was sick and I have to take him to the sick bush for treatment. So the fact that someone that is not my relative gives me rice brought so much joy to me
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship I'm facing right now is the lack of money for my daughter to further her education. My daughter graduated from high school last year and is unable to further her education and I'm very uncomfortable with the condition I'm in.Even though I make farm but the income I get from the farm is what I spend on food.I will really appreciate any assistance provided to me by GiveDirectly to improve my livelihood
