How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, I have new goals that I want to achieve. I lived in an unfinished house, since I built it, I have not been to do the plastering work because of lack of finance. So, when I got enrolled on GiveDirectly Cash transferred profgram I plan to buy cement and complete the plastering process Upon receiving my first and second transfer. Also, getting my children in School was another challenge for me. Now that I'm receiving transferred from GiveDirectly my goals of plastering my house and paying my kids tuitions will be achieved.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly is doing well in providing direct cash transferred to poor people. GiveDirectly Cash that is given to poor people will help better their lives, so I think GiveDirectly should continue to give out money to those that are extremely in need.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I built my house over three years, but I could not afford to buy cement and hire contractors to do the plastering work, because of lack of finance. So, when I got enrolled on GiveDirectly Cash transferred profgram I plan to buy cement and complete the plastering process Upon receiving my first and second transfer. Also, getting my children in School was another challenge for me. When I received my most recent transferred I used portion of it to purchase three bags of cement and the balance was used to paid my kids tuitions.
