How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Initially I never thought about building a house, not until I begin to receive money from Givedirectly. Now I have started buying materials to begin my house project soon. I never saw this coming until now.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Presently I can not tell what Givedirectly is not good at, maybe some other time in the future. Notwithstanding, I do Know Givedirectly is very good at suprising people. This money came as a big suprise to most of us. We never thought it would have ever happen, not ever after we received the phones and Sim cards.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very much excited when I received my transfer. I felt that my worries are over.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Givedirectly program has impacted my life immensely.I have been living in my relative house for the past years. To pay my children tuition has been difficult for me. However, upon receiving my transfer, I purchased few bundles of zinc, planks and assorted nails. I also used portion of the transfer to pay my children school fees. I will begin my building process as soon as my second transfer hit my account. I am sure of moving in my own house before the year ends.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the GiveDirectly Cash transfer I intend to do Business inorder to substain my family and send my children to Maryland to attend a private school to obtain a better education.Even though they are attending Domostration public school, but due to unpaid teachers salary the school activities is not regular. And I am only depending on subsistence farming that only provide us with daily substance, but not additional cash flow to send my children to private school. However the business will provide me with money through profit to substain my family and provide better education for my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what has brought me joy or happiness is when my uncle paid my children school fees this school year.I was happy for what he did for me because I didn't had money to paid my children school fees and the Coco farm that I make did yeild this year.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing right now is the lack of money to do Business.Eventhought I make Coco farm but the money I earn from the farm is not enough to maintain my family. The Coco farm that I make is a seasonal thing, More besides the farm take longer time to produce .I will really appreciate any help from GiveDirectly to improve my livelihood
