What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought 7 bags of cement worth 210,000 UGX , and sand 50,000 UGX which I used to plaster my house. I also bought clothes for my eight children worth 400,000 UGX. Then the treatment of my sick children almost consumed 300,000 UGX then the rest of the money I spent it on paying my builders and catering for other family necessities.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well by giving me cash transfers which have helped my family alot. That is the best thing givedirectly did for us. On the otherhand I wish give directly would add us more cash transfers.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life was wanting before , I could not afford even basic necessities for my family but when I received the cash transfer my life became better. I can now afford food, good clothes and I can cater for the treatment of my children.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy a mattress, two blankets, clothes, food stuff and am saving Ugx 1,000,000 of it to use in renovating our house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
That moment i recieved my money, I felt a lot of joy in my heart and some sense of peace transpired in me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is i have a peace of mind now because most of the financial burden has been reduced.

The biggest hardship I face in my life is the health complications that have continuously disturbed my family for many year.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when my children and I are healthy without anyone collapsing

Receiving this money means to me, paying school fees for my children and paying medical bills if any falls sick.
