What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfers, I made an innitial payment of land worth 1,433,000ugx towards purchase of land and the balance of 200,000ugx, I used for paying tuition for my children.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What Givedirectly does wrll is that, it gives unconditional cash transfers to the poor and what it does not do well is that, beneficiaries don't receive their transfers at the same time.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have land that I will cultivate on and sell some to take my children to school. I now have less stress than before since I didn't have enough land to cultivate.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer worth 1719800 Ugx, I was able to purchase four bags of maize to act as a food reserve at 400,000Ugx,I also purchased two mattresses to improve on the living conditions and that costed 180,000Ugx, land was mortgaged to me at 1,000,000Ugx and my intention on it is to use it for crop cultivation since I did not have enough land to cultivate for food production while the balance i used for purchasing other household items like clothes and utensils.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I saw the message that money had been sent to my phone, I knelt down in prayer to thank God for his providence.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
After receiving my first transfer,I have had relief on how to get food to feed the family. Prior to the first transfer I received from Give Directly, I used to move up and down to look for ways of feeding my family and we can now have two or three meals a day compared to the days before when we were not assured of having even a meal in a day.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i faced in life is imprisonment of my father ,this made me struggled lot in paying school fees
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is evening hours when am feeding my poultry birds and watch them playing

Receiving this money will help me buy land for cultivation to increase my source of income
