How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now own apiece of land, paid my school fees for my children and my children can now read at night because there is solar lighting which was not the case before I received unconditional cash transfers from GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD has done well to support us financially because were very poor and most people were not even able to afford a meal in a day, and there is nothing bad it has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy apiece of land at UGX 1,632,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that now I have lighting in my house which enables my children to read their books at night.

The moment I received my money, I became very happy and thanked God for give directly.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay Education(school fees and requirements) at 1,340,000ugx, and Solar at 360,000ugx.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will also be able to buy cows such that in five years time ,they will have reproduced and I sell for educating my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up healthy and able to perform my home cores.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing currently is that I have limited agricultural land. And this has limited my crop production.
