How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that my house looks good and able since I was able repair it and solar lighting I bought helps my in their night revision. Unlike before, my house was almost collapsing and my children had no lighting for night reading.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD has done well to give me unconditional cash transfer to which has helped in repairing my house,pay my children's school fees and I also bought house hold items, and there is nothing bad it has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent second transfer to pay school fees at UGX 600,000,, bought a bull at UGX 800,000, scholastic materials(books, metallic box) at UGX 100,000 and clothes at UGX 132,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, my standard of living has improved. This is evident with the balance diet am eating and the house which am renovating because it used to leak every time it rained.

The moment I received the money, I felt very happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay debts worth 500000ugx, bought beddings and utensils totaling to 200000ugx. I'm currently renovating my house with remaining 1000000ugx.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to meet the scholastic needs of my children. I also hope to buy oxen for ploughing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when my children come back from school and they are playing.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is inadequacy of money to take care of the scholastic needs of my children.
