How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now sleep comfortably under an iron roofed house with solar lighting .Unlike before I had to pay Kerosene to light at night.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD cash transfers have enabled us to acquire household items and goods which we had lacked for along time because we could not afford, and there is nothing bad it has done.

I spent my second transfer to purchase land worth UGX 1,300,000, food at UGX 250,000, savings worth UGX 82,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life us that, I am now sleeping in a better house and we feed on abalanced diet now.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first cash transfer, I felt happy because my plan of completing the construction I my house had been achieved.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first cash transfer worth UGX 1,700,000, I bought ten bags of cement at UGX 280,000, I bought a metalic door at UGX 170,000, I paid medical bills for my spouse worth UGX 60,000. I paid labour for renovating my house worth UGX 200,000. Ssand for plastering costed UGX 240,000. I bought a blanket at UGX 60,000 and aquired some utensils at a bout UGX 100,000. I then bought two piglets at UGX 80,000 and bought food with UGX 200,000.The balance of UGX 310,000, I am still keeping for emergency.
