How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is much different in that we are now sleeping under a permanent house. This is an achievement that would not have been possible because we did not have money. Prior to receiving the cash transfers, I was living in a small thatched house which was expensive to maintain annually.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to help the needy. There is no other charity organization that does what GiveDirectly does. GiveDirectly does not segregate people. They are not partisan.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent all the cash transfer to complete the construction of a two roomed house.
