How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now have Livestock which will help me to farm in time and get good quantities of produce. Before Life was hard ( had no money) in that I could not hire oxen to plough my gardens. I would not have got this Livestock if I never received my transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by supporting people to beautify their homes with permanent structures,household goods and livestock.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer on clearing debt of 1,200,000, Livestock at 400,000 and food (cassava flour, beans) at 33000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have been able to regain ownership of my acres of land that had been in the hands of the creditor.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money in my phone, I felt too excited to the extent that I failed to continue with my sleep that as I waited day break for me to go and withdraw the money.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying my child's tuition, bought livestock i.e two goats and two pigs, food and paid back a loan with the balance.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to buy land and oxen for farming. I hired out land for educating my son in the university ,so currently I do not have where to farm.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moments is always after garden work in the afternoons. I take this time relaxing planning for the next day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is indequate amount money to facilitate the buying of land and oxen for farming.
