Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal in life is to build a bigger poultry house for my chicken. This is because the current one is becoming smaller each day due to the growing number of chicken that I own. Also, I am planning to start rearing grade chicken for egg production purposes. I settled on this since there's an increased demand for eggs in the market compared to the supply.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have been able to expand my poultry keeping project. Due to this, the income from this project has increased due to more eggs that I supply to the market unlike before when I used to supply fewer eggs. Also, I was able to increase the acreage under beans cultivation this season. I am now certain of an increased yield this year hence I will earn more money after selling them compared to previous seasons when I usually cultivated a small portion of land.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will have changed in the next six months in that I will have built a bigger chicken coop. Due to this, I will not be rearing my chicken in a congested environment anymore. Also, I will have started keeping grade chicken alongside the Kienyeji ones that I now keep. This will lead to increased production of eggs hence I will be able to earn more income every week since I will have increased the number of eggs that I will be selling. I will be investing this money in my children by paying their school fees on time so that they cannot be sent back home.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months ago, My child was very sick and I could not afford his medication. His condition required a specialist to look at him and give treatment. It was too expensive and I could not even raise money for transport to go and see the doctor. On receiving transfers, we headed to the hospital where we found help. He was operated on and has now been healed. I continue to use part of the transfers to care for him as he recovers from the sickness. I am a happy mother as this condition has really improved. Providing food for the family has also become possible. We currently have money to buy food that covers three meals of the day.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I plan to continue saving in merry go round group. I will use the savings to buy a cow. This is important because it will multiply and even produce milk. I can easily sell them to get cash and my children will benefit from this investment. I will be able to meet their basic and education needs easily.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
For the last four months, my family has been getting proper three meals on daily basis unlike before. Farming has become an unreliable source of income. This rendered my family insecure as we could only provide food for breakfast and super but skipping lunch. Since receiving these transfers, I shop for foodstuff in bulk. I shop for maize flour, wheat flour, and cooking fat. I have also stopped selling milk from my farm. This would help me to have good meals everyday, My family is well fed.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to be owning a dairy cow fro the savings I am making. I will be getting milk that will be a good source of income when I sell the product. I will be free to work more as food will then be available.
