How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life us currently different in that I am able to pay the house that my son is living in using the transfer while still managing to pay his school fees.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I am able to pay the house that my son is living in using the transfer and still manage to pay his school fees on time. To me, this is a great achievement because a few months ago I could not have done all this at ago. The fact that I am able to provide for my family and still cater for my son's educational needs gives me peace. I am a happy parent because of the help I get from GiveDirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am less worried about my son being locked outside his rented house for lack or delayed payment of rent. I always worried at the thought that my son could be locked out due to late payment of rent especially after working hard with little hope of getting enough money to settle his bills. Since I got additional transfers from Give Directly, I am no longer worried because it is specifically set aside for this purpose.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the near future is to ensure that my children continue with their education. I had at some point almost given up because tof the pressure of raising school fees for all of them. I am currently servicing loans I had taken to pay my children school fees and hopefully I will have cleared these in the near future. this will allow me to invest in a poultry project. I pray that my children would do well in school as this will amount to a reward to me as a parent.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different in that I have been able to meet most of my familys needs much more more easily than I used to get. My pay slip was fully committed to paying loans and this left me with very little to take home at the end of every month. GiveDirectly transfers came in handy to help me meet most of my family's basic needs much more easily and saved me from the shame of being an irresponsible father. This has brought so much joy and happiness in my family and I couldn't thank GiveDirectly enough.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Two of my children just cleared their secondary education and they are due to join various colleges over the next four months. They remain to be my main focus over this period as I try to pool resources together and be able to meet all their college needs in time. I am optimistic that with the resources that I have assembled over this period of time then I will be able to pay their school fees in time.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily is that the GiveDirectly transfers have helped me at the time when I was earning almost nothing due to over borrowing. I am a P1 teacher and my salary is too little to fully help me out in paying all of my bills. This, coupled with the many children who were in various secondary schools then, led me into over borrowing as I struggled to pay their school fees in time. GiveDirectly transfers were able to see me buy the basic household necessities something which I was almost unable to accomplish.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in that I shall have taken my two children to their various colleges and successfully settle them as they try to make their own future bright. This is definitely a priority to me since there is nothing that could make me more happier than to give the best in terms of education to my children. I am looking forward to doing this.
