How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to purchase more goods for my existing business. I do sell dry fish which I started selling from my first transfer. A portion of that money was spent on Zinc for my new house I intend building and the remaining portion was spent on purchasing dry fish in other to sell. My recent transfer will be directed to buying additional fish to increase my business and a portion of it will be spent on my children balance fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does everything well, they have made my long awaited dream to become a reality.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My transfer will be spent on adding more goods to my existing business which is buying more dry fish and the remaining portion will be spent on paying my children balance fees in school.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
In 2017 my boyfriend escaped from me when he noticed that I was pregnant with my first daughter leaving us in an old house. Since he left, the house broken down so we moved in our neighbour's house as a tenant.
At time it is difficult to afford my house rent because the fish business I do doesn't have much profit.
Currently, as I speak to you we have not eaten anything since day and I am also worried how to get money for my next month's rent.
If Give Directly sends me any money, I'll use some of it to build my house and rest will be used to establish a business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The news of Give Directly in my community has brought me so much joy and hopee. The living conditions of many residents of our neighbouring towns and villages are fast improving since the presence of Give Directly in those places so I believe if I am given the opportunity they have now, things will get much better for me and my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenge has been shelter for my family.
Since the house my boyfriend left with us before escaping broke down, I have to struggle to find food for my kid at the same time looking for money to pay rent for shelter with a high cost.
