How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that am now stress free especially after buying the animals that am going to give to my in-laws as dowry. A part from that I also bought my Oxen that are going to facilitate ploughing on time. I used to hire oxen at a cost amidst high competition, this resulted into low yields or no harvest at all in the years I failed to hire. Am grateful to Give Directly for the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly did well to sensitize us about the program which encouraged me and other people to get enrolled. According to me they did not do well to leave out some people especially the dependants who drooped out of school due to financial challenges.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying livestock, 3 cows at UGX 1,500,000 and 2 goats at UGX 133,000. I bought those animals in preparation for my marriage.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have got a peace of mind, because am relieved from the burden of hiring oxen for farming, since I have bought my own.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I saw the message from Segovia, I went ahead to check my mobile money balance on confirming that I had received money from Give Directly, I became very happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for purchasing two bulls at 1,700,000 UGX , that will enable me plough my farm land in time, in so doing increasing crop production.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will build my own residential house because I am just care taking the one I am residing in now.I believe this money will also help me open up a veterinary drug shop to support my family.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I read my bible and meditate on it .
