How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I sleep more comfortably with a mattress than before, and my health has improved.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving us money to build houses, acquire household items, land, meet hospital bills; and there's nothing it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to complete buying a plot of land, paid hospital bills, bought household items like a mattress and a bed, then spent some on food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I now own a plot of land and a bicycle. I never thought I would own these property but I am glad and happy for give directly.

I became very excited and very happy when I received this cash transfer.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 1,100,000 ugx to purchase a plot of land and 300,000 ugx to purchase a bicycle. Then I spent the balance on purchasing clothings, food and transport facilitation.

Receiving this money means I will be in position to buy a piece of land for settlement.

The happiest part of my day is in the afternoons when the children are back home and happily playing and asking me questions

The biggest hardship I face in my life, is my health condition. I was diagnosed with HIV/Aids virus which he weaken my immune system
