How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now sleep in an iron sheet roofed house which I never thought it would happen in my life because I could not afford. But the GD cash transfers made it possible.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD cash transfers has helped me to build a good house hence I now sleep comfortably and peacefully , and there is nothing bad GD has done.

I spent my second transfer to buy iron sheets at UGX 312,000, timber at UGX 230,000, a door at UGX 250,000, windows at UGX 140,000, a mattress at UGX 180,000ugx, a Bed at UGX 200,000, clothes at UGX 200,000, bed sheets at UGX 20,000, chairs at UGX 25,000, table at UGX 50,000ugx, and savings at UGX 25,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Tbe biggest difference ing daily life is happiness as I had never had this amount of money which is able to make me spend as I always wanted.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent most of my first transfer to buy two heads of cattle at 1,200,000 ugx. This will act as my investment and it will give me belonging in the community. I also used part of my transfer to mold bricks. This is so as I plan to use that to build my house in the near future. I finally bought bedings such as mattress and bed, Clothes and then food that I used for feeding.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My house is currently in a bad situation so when i receive this money, the first thing i want to do is improve my shelter.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I always become happy whenever i go for Juma prayers on friday. This relieves me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is the problem of my eye disease of which i was told its expensive to treat and my financial stand is bad.
