How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different in that I was able to buy a motorcycle that will help me be self employed and generate money to support my family. Prior to getting this money, I used to ride another person's motorcycle and making money to sustain my family was difficult as the boss needed a specific amount of money. So most of the money I made went to him leaving me with just peanut to survive on.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by giving me money that has enabled me to buy a motorcycle that will now keep me employed.
On the other hand, I don't see anything bad that Give Directly has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my entire second transfer Ugx 1632000 to add up with part of my first transfer and bought a motorcycle.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Iam going to spend this transfers for marrying my spouse. My in-laws have kept on taking their daughter from me saying that Iam such a poor person worth to be called son in-law. This has stressed my life but have always wondered where to get money for buying animals that I can give as an apreciation to my parents in law.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of money for providing basic needs to my family. My familly members always fall sick and I do not have any serious source of income generatiing activity where I could get money for their treatment. The little I save from boda- boda ridding it's not enough to solve other basic needs.
