What does receiving this money mean to you?
" This money, you see this house is my mother who built it, I don't have my own house. Even the zinc over the house is very old. If GiveDirectly give my husband and I this money, we will start business so we can build our own house. Secondly, I have children going to school, but last year some of them didn't do to school because the hand is not there, so when the money comes, I will register them to continue their schooling."
What is the happiest part of your day?
" We can't remember being happy over the past six months because NGO hardly come to us here. I can say we are happy today because of you people coming here today to help us. Thank God for GiveDirectly and thank God for you who work for GiveDirectly."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" Money is our main challenge, if we do burn fire coal, we can get money, we have to do hard labor work like cutting trees down to burn before we get money. Food is one of our surfing that we are going through, we can make farm but the soil is not rich for rice production because we are not far from the sea, so food business is hard."
