How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
In the upcoming year I plan to start the building process of my house and setup a business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Oh! I really appreciate GiveDirectly for their efforts, my wife and I say God should bless you all the staffs of GiveDirectly and those that establish this unique hamuniterian organization.
We are grateful for the program because through it we are able to think of building a zinc house which was never part of our goal since we were born because we did not even know where to take the money from.
I will like to recommend today that GiveDirectly continue their great job by giving us the poor people money freely without asking us for anything to change our live, this should not be the last.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my first transfer I was feeling happy because, when the town received the first transfer we did not received but when the second transfer came we received our first transfer, I am very happy and I just want to tell GiveDirectly thank you.

The biggest difference in my life is that this money will enable me to build a zinc house for me and my family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I received the cash transfer from GiveDirectly, I will change the roof of the mud structure I am presently dwelling in and support my children schooling. I have six children and I need to educate them at the same time make a decent dwelling place for them at home. Living as a family man without a formal education that will enable you secure a perminent source of income is a serious problem. With tje help of GiveDirectly transfer, I will be able to pay my children yearly school fees for the coming academic year and and also embark on the house project to whatever level the cash can support.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the month of June 2022, we completed the yearly payment of our kids school fees. From that time until now, I am still excited and too much happy because the kids are our future. I strongly believe that educating my children is one of the easier ways they can get a better future. Thanks God that I am participating in GiveDirectly program because it will strengthen me pay my children school fees and build my house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The lack of a dwelling place is my current hardship I am facing. I am a church leader and I accommodate my Christian guests most often but I don't have any decent dwelling place to host my own family and guest. I have already started a foundation for a three bedroom building project with the little that I earned but the presence of other family responsibilities, the project has come to a stand till. I am hopeful to complete it if I am successful to received the cash transfer from GiveDirectly.
