How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal for my recent transfer is for me to improve my house with new roof by removing the thatch and replacing it with Zinc.

In my mind GiveDirectly is doing well for me because they are helping me with money to improve my house with new roof by removing the thatch and replacing it with Zinc. I have not observed anything that GiveDirectly did not do well with since I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly.

I am planning to buy Zinc, Nails and pay workmanship for those who will saw my woods.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my first transfer I was feeling very happy because this money will enable me to easily build my house.

The biggest difference in my life now is that this money will enable me build my house and also send my children to school.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am a business minded person, I was making small table market before but due to lack of support my market broke down so if I am qualify for this program and I received any money from Givedirectly I am going to start my business again, build a new zinc house and support my children in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the past six months I have not had any joy or happiness because I worry about how to get money and start my business again, but upon hearing about Givedirectly and the kind of help that they are doing for poor families around Liberia and been apart of this program I am over joy today.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
As I said earlier I am a business person but my business broke down because of lack of money so my main challenge for now is money problem.
