Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received the transfer i was very happy. I had always wanted to do away with the leaking grass roofing of my house but i could not harvest enough farm produce to find money to buy the iron sheets. Thanks for supporting me to fulfil my wish.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is being able to afford an iron sheet roofed house. Thank you for helping me to make it possible.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy 25 iron sheets, one mattress, one blanket, 5 bags of maize, and saved some to pay those who will work on iron sheet roofing. My current house is grass thatched so i want to change to iron sheets because it leaks too much during rainy season.
