I don't have a new goal because my house project is still ongoing. I am hoping to do something different with my 4th transfer, but it all depends on the completion of my house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was hauling sticks for someone when I heard my message alert. I called one of my sons to help me read the message and it was Givedirectly who had sent me money. I threw the sticks from my head on the ground; with so much happiness and fulfillment, I ran up and down the town in jubilation. I was even confused; I did not know how to act anymore out of happiness. Givedirectly has done the biggest thing ever in my life. At least for once, someone has thought about helping me since my husband died. I will be able to settle most of my problem and wear smile on my face.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life was full of suffering before Givedirectly came to Wlegboken. I was laboring for people to survive. I am still living in my mother's house as old as I am. Having a house of my own had been my biggest wish but there had been no financial strength to accomplish that. Knowing that Givedirectly will bless me with these transfers, it brings me nothing but excess joy and happiness as I will be a house owner soon. My face has even changed to be frank, the happiness has made me feel younger. I am no longer a sad person, I have peace written all over me.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I kept my money to add to the other transfers to build my house. I don't want to buy my materials little by little, once I receive the rest of my transfers, I will buy assorted building materials for my house project. I don't know how many of each material I will buy yet, but after the builder must have told me, then I will have an idea.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
As a subsistence farmer for many years who has realized that rice farming is not not a farming to make someone get the cash she / he wants to get from the proceeds, I have planned to involve into coacoa farming that are more vibrance around our certain if I received the unconditional cash transfer from GiveDirectly. People who plant coacoa have succeeded in life more than those who made subsistence farming over the years . My life has not been able to change because the produce from my rice farm cannot keep my family and I up for 6 months thereby making us to live in an absolute unpleasant condition. We have tried to change our house to a better one for many years to no avail.
What is the happiest part of your day?
With the opportunity given me by the God Almighty to give us food on a daily basis without any extreame illness, I thank God every morning for keeping us up and that what really brought me joy and happiness every day despite the difficulties we faced with .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My dwelling place here is delapetated and this has been the condition for many years . My challenges are how to own a coacoa farm that will enable me build a modern house . I have been living here with my family for many years and we are the most unfriended family around this place because my family has no money or property as compared to my neighbors. Reasons that my family and I most often spent our days on our farm and return in the evening hours.
