What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for purchasing 2 cow at 900,000 ugx, iron sheets and nails at 403,000 ugx, an ox-plough at 200,000 ugx and saved 130,000 ugx.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has done well to give us cash directly. Give Directly has not done any thing bad.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different In that I have been in position to own oxen and an ox-plough that has greatly eased farming. I have also bought iron sheets that am intending to use for constructing an iron roofed house, getting all the above would not be possible had I not recieved this transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying a bull at 1,100,000UGX, that I'm to use for ploughing my land, I spent some money for buying clothing for my children and household items. I have kept 400,000Ugx to spend later.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I became very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have got a peace of my a mind because of the savings that I have, and I have been in position to get a bigger bull to supplement the one I had for ploughing my land.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face currently is lack of money to buy oxen for ploughing and lack of a partner.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moment is during evening especially chatting with friends.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to marry another wife. The transfers i wiil use for buying animals that can be given to my in-laws incase i get a right partner. My wife left for another man now iam finding it hard to take care of the children alone.
