What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for purchasing 3 cows at 1,280,000 ugx, mattress at 110,000 ugx, 2 bags of cement and pay for Labour for renovating my house at 80,000 ugx. I also bought a phone at 60,000 ugx, 3 pairs of bed heets plus a blanket at 90,000 ugx and food at 13,000 ugx.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has done well to give me cash that has enabled me buy my cow that am going to pay as dowary. Give Directly has not done any thing bad because this money has benefited most people in my village.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have been in position to buy 3 cows at once that am to pay for dowary, buying these cow would not be possible had I not recieved this transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I purchased three cows, three cows and five hens with my first cash transfer.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I became very excited and happy. I had lost hopes of ever benefiting since I was the last person to be enrolled into the program. I knew I was unlucky and this chance would not come to pass.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest differences in my daily life so far are very evident for instance I am now proud and respected in this community because I purchased my own property like cows. I never had hopes of owning cows before. My standards of living have also changed because I can buy my own basic needs.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money for feeding, buying clothes,animals and other house hold items.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Normally i feel happy waking up in the mornings.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to buy animals(goasts and cows ) for rearing. These animals may easily multiple and i will be selling to raise more money for my future family.
