In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Through GiveDirectly my live is improving greatly because I was able to buy some of the solar lights and I wasn't having the plan to buy such light which cost 256 USD but through their program I was empowered to do such. How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have had this goal of completing my house that I started building before the coming of GiveDirectly into Nagbo's town. The house is a four bed rooms house with an inside bathroom and a sitting place. Since I started building this house, It has been a serious challenge for me to have complete it due to the lack of finance. However, I am so thankful to GD for helping me with such a huge money to finish my house project that I long embarked on.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well for me through the transfers received from them. Right now, I do not even know how to appreciate GiveDirectly for this helped. The transfers have helped me paid a debt that I inherited when I started to build this new house. Also, it has enable me buy enough cement to start the plastering of my house. So, I am very grateful for the financial helped received from GiveDirectly. As for things done unwell, I have not seen anything done unwell so far.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought six bags of cement and paid debt that I inherited from the building of my house. It is a four rooms house. I live here in Nagbo's town together with my wife and four children. Providing meal everyday and supporting my children's educations are a huge burden that consumed almost all of my income. Because of that there has been no means to even save some money to complete the house that I started building long ago. So, I feel lucky when I started to receive my transfers from GiveDirectly. It is helping me greatly with the completion of my house work.
