How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am a farmer and i spport my children from the farm that i make therefore, i am hoping that in few years to come my farm would grow bigger where i would have more produce to sell and give my children a better life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing well by giving us money to sustain ourselves because lack of money brings about worries. Imagine me to be able to buy a solar light all because GD has given me money and has left me with the choice of how to spend it.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer has been withdrawn and kept so as to add up and buy a motobike for transportation (business) purpose. This is because i believe that when i invest the money i would not easily run out of cash.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to build a new house. I am a father of seven children. The house that we live in is very small. It is a two rooms house and my children are gradually growing up. So, it was actually my plan to build another house with enough space to accommodate my family. But I could not afford the cost of building a new house then. My income is very little to even sustain my family. I am very thankful to God for bringing GiveDirectly to my village. Through GiveDirectly cash transfer program, I have been able to buy enough house building materials to start my new house construction.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well for me. Through GiveDirectly, I am able to afford the cost of building a new house. Because this has truly been my desire to build a new house. I have a large family. Where we live is too small to accommodate my family. We have just been managing living here. But all thanks to GiveDirectly for this wonderful opportunity giving me. It has empowered me greatly. However, when it comes to things done unwell by GD, I am not aware of anything of such.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought additional mattress and 20 gallon of gasoline for the sawing of planks to begin my house construction. It has been my dream of building a new house to add up to the one that my family and I are presently live in. I have a wife and seven children to support daily. Life has been challenging for me. Despite my dream of building a house, I have not been able due to limited finance. I do farming for living and the proceed could not afford the construction of a new house. So, I am grateful to GiveDirectly for being here for me.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was right home when I received the transfer alert on my phone. However, I felt very pleased at that moment because I have a plan to build a house for my family but I could not afford the money to undertake the project on my own due to the hardship I'm faced with.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference since I started receiving the transfer in my daily life is that my family and I have survived by farming. We had just one source of income. Moreover, We have to work hard to sustain ourselves but with the intervention of Give Directly, I feel relaxed as a breadwinner because I have been empowered to build a new house and do those things I could not do on my own through the transfer.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Before the transfer was sent, I needed a mattress so a portion of my transfer was used to buy a mattress and I invested the balance in the house project to buy zinc.
