How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
After receiving the cash transfer, our new goals are to build a new house with zinc roof, and continue supporting our child in school. Thanks to Give Directly for assisting in fulfilling our dreams.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In mine own opinion Give Directly gives out unconditional cash transfer to assist us change our lives. We have been living in tash roofed house all our lives, and then GD came to assist us with cash. We're going to build our house with zinc roof. Thank You Give Directly For All You Have Done For Us. There's nothing wrong that I have seen you all doing.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With the recent cash transfer, we bought eleven packs of nails, and saved the balance cash to pay the labourers that will be building our house.

In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly does everything well. I can't currently point at anything Givedirectly is not doing well. From cash transfer to the way her people talk to us kindly is so good. I love everything about Givedirectly.

My most recent transfer was spent on Zince, nail, gasoline to saw my planks, and school fees for my children

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I have just returned from my farm when a neighbour from my village told me the good news about Givedirectly money. I was so happy and begin to dance and thanking God for the money. This has never happen before in my life for an NGO to give money like this to our town.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
It was hard for my family. My husband had to go set trape before we eat. Someday if we are unfornate and the trape didnt catch, we could go hungry for days.

I bought zinc to build my new house. I also send to money to my children for school.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" Last past years things have been very difficult we have to led trapped for animals before we survive. If eligible I will build a decent house of my own. Secondly I engage into business and more farming activities to sustain the family. "
What is the happiest part of your day?
" My daughter had a health issues few months ago and we never had any money for treatment, but one of my relatives took her to Maryland for proper care and she recovered. It brought so much happiness to me."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Financial I'm incapacitated getting food for my family had been very difficult I have to hunt before we sell to get food . When we plant it don't produce well ."
