What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am very happy that I have received this money. I will use the money to buy iron sheets so that I can using grass to thatch my roof. It is very difficult to live in the house during rainy season. Iron sheets will help me to sleep comfortably without worrying about a leaking roof. I will use some of the goats to buy goats so that I can be able to sell and find money to help my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months I have been happy because I was able to earn some money through fishing. I used this money to buy nice food for my family such as rice and bread. This makes me happy because my children are able to eat some of the food that they wish they could have.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge that I am facing right now is lack of money. I am not able to make enough money. Sometimes I make MK2500 a day which is not enough money to buy all the basic needs. Lack of money is coming in because as a fisherman I no longer catch fish the way we used to in the past. The population of fish has declined which means my work does not pay a lot anymore.
