How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan was to build my own house in my village, because the house I'm living in right now is my uncle's house, and the roof has leakage all over. That been my plan but to build my house, but I never had the support to accomplish my plan. I am a farmer, I will make cassava farm just to feel my family, my income was very low to accomplished that. But with the support from givedirectly I am now building my owned house in my village. Upon receiving all my transfer my life has changed for the better. Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support that was given me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goals I have set before receiving this transfer are to pay casual workers to saw planks in the bush for my house roofing and start to sell gasoline in this village to sustain my family . I have decided to sell gasoline in this village because there is no gasoline seller in our community. Motorbikes riders in this village are challenged when it comes to fueling their bikes. I therefore believe that when I sell gasoline in this village, I will be able to get customers who will buy in huge quantities to help me generate more profits in the future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, Givedirectly is actually helping the poor in Liberia to improve their ways of living. Through Givedirectly direct cash support, Many recipients in our village are now capable of taking care of the families busic needs. Some are providing regular meals for their families, while others are building their own houses. Thanks to Givedirectly for helping to reduce poverty rate in our village. In terms of improvement for Givedirectly implementation, Givedirectly needs to build strong rapport with Lonestar cell MTM for cashing out of recipients transfers because recipients have to travel distances before cashout their transfers.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spend my most recent transfer to buy two tins of gasoline, along with two bags of rice , one cartoon of vita cube and a bucket of dry peppers to start selling immediately. I also paid school fees for my two children in school and lastly paid cash advance to casual workers to start sawing planks for my house roof. Thanks to Givedirectly for empowering me financially. I believe that with my transfer, my suffering will soon be over.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I used my first transfer to improve my house. With my second transfer, my new goal is to start a business. I was making business, but it broke down because I was using the business money to solve other family related problems. The business will continue to empower me not to go out of money. I use to do hard labour job on my farm to get food. My business will take me from the bush and keep on generating profits for my sustainability. I appreciate GiveDirectly for this support.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly came in my community and promise me money. The money comes strightly to me. There is no corrupt. Everyone who works with GiveDirectly is kind and respectful. I don't thing GiveDirectly needs to improve on anything.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I will spent my recent transfer on starting a business. I was making business, but I couldn't continue because I used all the business money on solving family problems. I will make farm so it can be a backup for me. I will not use my business money for food. I will continue to generate profit from my business. I will do my best to maintain it for my family development. I appreciate GiveDirectly for my transfer.

Today Give Directly have come to my aid ; I am very happy because as soon I get this money I will no longer be sleeping in a leaking roof house again. Everything will be new my dishes and pot will have its own place. My children will have their own room. I will now sleep comfortably at night. And finally will be call a house owner.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last months I heard a lots and lots of good news, even when I give birth to a bouncing baby boy ; I was like wow!God I am grateful. Now today Give Directly has added my joy up. Hearing of this money transfer is more than a happy news. Joy has fill my soul and I am very excited about this amazing news. All I ever wanted was money to build a very big house and today I am told that I will be receiving unconditional cash transfer. That is wonderful. Thanks to GD for ever.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My greatest life challenge is the way I go about looking for money; farming, fishing, setting off basket etc but all these things are not enough to generate cash to enable me build a very big and new house. The money I get on a daily basis is just from hand to mouth. To look for money in Liberia is very hard. I am really going through a lot and needing help for my family. Give Directly please I will really be glad if I am selected.
