How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I built a permanent house that has restored a peace of mind to me. In the past, I used to worry a lot over how to rescue myself from an old leaking thatched house I stayed in. The thatch material was also very expensive and I couldn't afford them to renovate the house since I didn't have money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me the money that built the permanent house I currently stay in. On the other hand, nothing bad has been done by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on poultry, household goods such as a mattress, a bed, bed linen and utensils. I also used part of it to buy cement and sand, pay the person who cemented the floor of my house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the Joy that I constantly feel for seeing my complete house and hoping to enter it soon enough.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt great joy that I had got the money that was going to improve my life style in terms of housing and feeding.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent most of my first transfer to buy building materials and build my house. I needed a house that would not bother me anymore in terms of leaking, space and renovating. This new house of mine will as well help me save my money that I would use to buy grass every other year for other things that come up. I then used the rest of my first transfer to buy food that I used to feed my family and the people who were constructing my house.
