How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
After receiving the cash transfer, my new goals are to build a house with zinc roof, and continue supporting our children in school. Thanks to Give Directly for assisting us fulfill our dreams.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
At the moment,I don't have new goals since I'm still working on my house project. I'm awaiting my remaining transferred to complete my house elevation and roofing work. My goals of purchasing roofing sheets and planks was successful after receiving my second transferred.

In my opinion Give Directly is doing well in helping the poor people through direct Cash transfer approach and Give Directly should continue to help the poor people.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money from GiveDirectly I was so happy. I have been living in a dilapidated house for over 40 years. During raining season our belongings gets extremely wet from the leakages which make us to have uncomfortable sleep. Also, I don't have a better bed to sleep on, During night hours we sleep on Matt covered with clothes, So receiving such a huge money from GiveDirectly makes me so happy, Because I will no longer sleep on the floor. I will use portion of my transfer to purchase a giant size mattress that my family and I will sleep on.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have been living in extreme hardship for over 40 years.My house roof is made with thatches when ever rain falls, our belongings gets extremely wet from the leakages which make us to have uncomfortable sleep. What does receiving this money mean to you?
Sleeping in a house that is falling isn't safe. Since I started experiencing leaking from the roof a year ago. I have been gradually fixing my house but due to lack of money, I am unable to continue fixing it which resulted to my belongings getting soak whenever rain falls. Receiving money from Give Directly is a DREAM COME TRUE FOR ME so I will used the money to build a better house my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Seeing myself coming to the end of the year without sicknesses brought happiness to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenge now is getting my house fix but due to lack of money and support, I am unable to fix nor rebuild my house.
