How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Even though I don't have enough finance at the moment, I have new goal, to build my own house.Throughout my life i have been living in a deplorable house. I'm so grateful to Give Directly for giving me financial assistance. With this help that I'm receiving from Give Directly I Will build a better shelter for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly is doing well in helping the poor people through direct Cash transfer approach.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spend my most recent transfer to Paid power Saw operator 25,000LD to saw 135 pieces of planks for my new house roof. Also I bought two bundles of roofing sheets to cover my house when I'm done with the elevation work.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was feeling very happy. I live in a Church yard because of the struggle am going through. No one to assist me with cash when I really need it. I used to buy goods from Ivory Coast and sell just to have our daily meal. Thanks to Give Directly am going to build my own house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference the cash transfer made in me and mine children lives since I started receiving it is to assist me start buying materials to build a house of our own. I never had house on my own, but I will now build my own house. Thanks again GD for everything.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought two bundles of zinc, matress, and half bag of rice with the first cash transfer I received. Thanks again GD.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Since 2014 I have been living in this room without paying a cent therefore making it embarrassing especially where am having my family living here with me so benefiting from Give Directly will be a great help to my family because I will used the money to build myself a zinc house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Since my son was born, he haven't been admitted at the hospital for sickness which am really appreciative for and this brings happiness to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have reached the stage of having my own house so living in another person house is some how embarrassing. I have been trying to do hard labor job just to build myself a HOUSE but it's not working as planned which is a problem.
