How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
After receiving the cash transfer, our new goal is to build a house with zinc roof. The house we live in is built with tash roofed and when it starts to rain we get disturbed because of the leakages. Thanks to Give Directly for the assistance given us.

Give Directly give us unconditional cash transfer to transform our lives. We are forever grateful to God for sending them our way. There's nothing I have seen them doing that is wrong.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I have been living in a house made out of thatch roof. I usually suffered leakages during the rainy season. I couldn't afford changing the roof due to lack of money. I was very much excited when I received my transfer. My plan now is to purchase zinc and roof my house.
I have also planned to open a cocoa farm. Therefore, I used portion of my transfer to brush the spot and purchase cocoa seedlings.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The transfer has made me financially potent. I was able to buy my zinc and pay people to brush the spot for the cocoa.

I purchased zinc with my recent transfer. I also paid for cocoa seedlings and used some to brush the farm.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The way in which my children and myself including my fiance are sleeping in the same room is embarrassing so when I received money transfer from Give Directly, I will build a three bedrooms mud house with ZINC and the remaining money will be used to start a business which profits will be used to send my children to school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The support am receiving from my fiance have brought happiness to me because years ago, he was always cruel to me and my kids but thanks be to God for the support am receiving.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenge am currently facing is building a house in which my children will be having their own room because they and myself including my fiance are sleeping in which is really embarrassing.
There's no privacy for my spouse and myself.
