How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I could start receiving my transfer, I have been selling but the business was on a smaller scale. Upon receiving my third transfer, I was able to extend my business by buying more goods and I'm grateful for this empowerment.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
On my farm, I have network coverage, for this reason, I always carry my phone with me when I am going on the farm. After our enrollment on the GD program, we were eagerly awaiting the transfer because at that time some of the nearby towns have received theirs but ours had not come. One day, while on our way to the farm, the message tone on my phone sounded so my husband hurriedly took the phone and looked at it and behold it was the message that read " you have received $40, 375 from GIVE DIRECTLY". We were so overjoyed and left everything else, ran in the town to let everyone know that GIVE DIRECTLY has sent the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is I am now able to have current in my home daily from the generator we bought. At night, there were some insects that used to crawl in the house, but with the lighting of the house from the transfer we received, the insects are no longer giving us hard times like they did to us.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my transfer on my children school fees, we have bought a new generator and we have started a new business from the transfer we received.
