How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
At first, I have been struggling to pay my children tuition but with the help of Give Directly's transfer, I was able to pay their tuition and my wife and I have invested a portion of our transfer in business as another source of income. Lastly, we are planning to build our own house with the balance transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Since I got enrolled on Give Directly program, I have not seen or observed wrong about Give Directly. However, I'm grateful to Give Directly because they have improved my life by giving me the cash transfer.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I paid my children tuition with portion of my second transfer and the balance was invested in business.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home when my friend told me that her money has reached, so I ran to where we normally get network to check my phone and than I saw the message saying you have received money for Give Directly. At that moment, my heart was filled with so much joy that my wife and I started kissing. We were so happy that we even forgot to eat because we was excited.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I can feel very good now a days because I'm able to take care of children and feed the house.

I pay my children school fees and started my business.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"Access to finance is really difficult in our country nowadays, if I'm to benefit from this grant; I will organise a business. Proceeds from this business will be used for the education of my children and our upkeep."
What is the happiest part of your day?
" Hearing that I will benefit from Give Directly program has brought me great joy. I was out of cell phone, but with the help of Give Directly, I'm a cellphone owner today, not only that, but I'm expected to benefit from cash transfer which will bring a great relieve to my family and I."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" My major challenge is to educate my kids. I'm not working, something that is greatly hindering my ability to support them in school. I was not afforded the opportunity to learn and don't want my children to go through the same."
