I will purchase zinc and matress with my second transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does everything well because it really makes me happy to see them long distance just to see us benefit from the program.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, I didn't plan to build a house before GiveDirectly came to my village.

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
This money was so much useful to me, because I paid my daughter school fees for the academy year. Over a year and half, my children and I have been sleeping on a torn off matress. So the moment I cashed out my money, I bought one big matress that can accommodate all of us. I also bought some clothes for my children and some household material for our upkeep.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
This money has made some improvement my life. I'm much more relaxed now because I have reduced my financial expenses by 75%. I have paid my daughter school fees for the academy year. My children and I are now sleeping on good matress and I have some household items for the house. I would have gone to credit money from my neighbor's financial club if I wouldn't have received this money.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy and blessed when I received this money. I also felt lucky because some of my friends didn't receive. I was financially down proir to receiving this money. My first daughter is in Monrovia, she got promoted to the 8 grade and I have been thinking how to raise money to pay her yearly tuition. Fortunately for me I received this money. I'm so much grateful to GiveDirectly for helping me out.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
As a household, we are currently faced with a challenge of not having enough money to support and send our kids to school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last 6 months, what brought me happiness or joy is my kids and I haven't gotten sick over this time, and also having adequate meals on a daily basis. I appreciate God for his grace thus far.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am qualify to receive the cash transfer, I will firstly build a house for I and my family, and also start a small business to help sustain my family. If some of the cash is remaining after achieving the two mentioned plans, I will send my kids to school as well.
