What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the transfer on buying more building materials(Steel doors,windows and timber), I paid contractors to build a better house for me and my family,paid school fees for my children and I bought food for family consumption.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD made it possible for me to build a better and bigger house which can now accommodate my whole family comfortably. I do not see anything that GD has not done well.They change lives in extraordinary ways.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed extraordinarily because of Give Directly. My children have managed to stay in school and finish their studies due to these transfers I received from GD. And now my home looks beautiful and conducive as i built a better house through these transfers.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I have faced fundraising for my eldest child's hospital bill.This was after she got into a motorcycle accident and ended up breaking her.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest during the day when I mingle with my friends share stories,which makes me to forget my problems.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving transfers means that the constant querrels between my inlaws and I will lessen as I will build my own home, move out of my father inlaws compound and be independent.
