How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
It has always been my dream to live in a bigger house than the one my family and I presently live in. This drives my goal of using the cash received to construct a new house that will be bigger than the current one, we (family and I) live in. I live with my husband and sons in a one room house that has limited space. The house is made of thatch roof that leaks during rainy time, which is so disturbing and uncomfortable for us. I feel so happy now that I am able enough with the cash received to make this my dream real of building a bigger and decent house for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD has done well by giving us (family and I) direct cash transfer that does not have any conditions attach. It is my decision to spend on what I want to spend my money on. In my mind, it is a unique opportunity for me where I am left to choose whatever I desire so important. On the contrary of things done unwell by GD, I am not aware or have not heard of anything of such.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I did spend my most recent transfer on the purchase of gasoline for the operation of a power saw to saw planks and the payment of workmanship for the construction of my house. Long I have dream of living in a bigger house with my family. We live in a small house that has a leaking roof. However, now that I am empowered with the money received, I am going to build a spacious house with a protective roof made of iron sheet where my family and I can live comfortably with no worry of leakage.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I want to buy a land in Cestos city and the balance I will open a new rice and vita business. My husband and I live with our two children. It has been our dream of owning a place in Cestos city where our two children can stay to go to school. Now that I have received this third transfer means that my dream will come to reality and it will also help me to start a new business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is really doing well for us. Because of this organisation I am now empower to buy a land in the city of Cestos and to even think of establishing a business that will enable me to provide a better care for my children.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I will spend my most recent transfer on buying a Land and opening a rice and vita business. It has been my husband and I wish of owning a place in the City of Cestos where we can build a house. There, our two children can live to go to school since there is no school here in Nagbe's town.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, I do have a new goal which is based on the intervention of the GD program in my household lives. I have intended to build a leafly roof house but with the presence of this Give Directly Program in my life, I will build a house with zinc roof. This is because Give Directly has empowered me fully as compared to the past.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is totally doing fine by empowering us with financial donation that we use to do construction, sending children to school, buying house hold items, feedings, establishment of business and many others. When it comes to not doing well, I haven't recognised specifics that need improvement.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With my new goal of building a zinc roof house, I was able to use my second transfer to buy zinc for the construction purpose. I also bought children season clothes and opened a small new business. The business is intended for family up-keeping while awaiting the rest of the transfers to kick start my construction work in few months time.
