How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I still have my usual goal and that is to build a house for my family and I. We currently live in an uncomfortable house that is made of thatch roof and earth floor. Our house is very cold due to it present condition. This my fourth transfer will be use to construct a new house for my family and I to happily live.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD has done well for giving me money to build a new house for my family and I. I am not aware of any wrong that this organisation has done. It is my out most pleasure to extend thanks and appreciation to the family of GiveDirectly for it's amazing work. It is because of this organisation cash transfer model that I envision building a decent and comfortable house for my family to happily live.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my most recent transfer on the purchase of gasoline for the operation of a power saw to saw planks for the construction of a new house roof, that I am about to build. It has been my most dream to build a house for my family and I. We live in an uncomfortable house that leaks when it rains. I am tired of seeing my family goes through this horrible life of having sleepless night during rainy time, because of the leaking roof. I am about to construct a new house with a decent and protective roof from rain that will bring comfort to my family and I.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Constructing a new house is a plan that I did not have before receiving this most recent transfer. I was not thinking in this direction because I didn't have enough money. I am a father of four children and a wife to care for. The little money I earn from my farming work is usually spent on my children feedings and health.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing well for us by transferring cash directly and given us sim card and cell phone. It is because of GiveDirectly that I am going to build a better house for me and my family. The one we currently live in is in no good condition. However, I have not seen any wrong that this organisation has done.

I will spend my most recent transfer on buying planks and nails for the construction of a house. Before I was not thinking in this direction of constructing a house, due to no money. Now with this third transfer received I am going to build a better house for my family and I.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
As for me there is nothing new about me interm of New goals, I had already decided to sent my children to good mission school. Previously I was struggling with my children in sending them to school for quality education , the worst experience in life is to live from Hands to mount.
However, if GD was not going to come to my rescue by giving direct cash transfer my level was going to be the same all days.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly was abel to empower me financially this is what they do well but as what does GD not do well i can't remember anything because, they restore my life with money , i can now think about building a new house and sending my children to school , so all is well from my end.

I was abel to pay my children school fees , making arrangement for constructing a new house.
Sleeping place is one of the things that is very essential for human, if you don't have a good sleeping place you are not respected in your culture and society.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I feel fine and happy, I have ten(10) living children, sending all of them to school has been a problem for me because I do not have enough money to feed us at the same time sending all of my children to school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is that all of my ten (10) children will be in school and I will also be able to build a little structure for me and my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning to pay my children school fees when I withdraw my money. I have ten(10) children only five(5) have been in school and the other five(5) has not been to school before. However, I have planned to enroll my five(5) children that have not been to school before because I never had enough money for all of them to go to school.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Living with more than eight children in a delapetated structure is so dangerous and that is the life we are living as a family. My Madam and I constructed this building in 2000 and we haven't been able to renovate it due to lack of cash . She and I have a plan to build a new house anytime our saving accumulate to certain amount. Said saving has been so difficult to reach the needed amount for the planned project because of the usage; the purchasing of clothes for children including ourselves , buying cooking utensils as well as medication for the family have made our plan to be overdue . If my family are opportune to receive the unconditional cash transfer from GiveDirectly , it means our plan will come to fruitful because we haven't received any cash from Non governmental organization as a grant before.
What is the happiest part of your day?
With the difficult situation I face as a head of my family, I hardly feel happy most often unless I am blessed with cash made from daily contract to put food on table for my family and I. I have been happied for this week because my Madam gave birth safely with a bouncing back boy and sometimes, to see my children healthy with this very difficulties we are facing on a daily basis, nothing more than joy I can be .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My challenges have been how to gather resources that could take care of my children. My Madam and I were blessed with 10 children . To take care of those 10 children is a real challenge for us . To gather school fees and food for them have always been a difficult situation that always pushed us to do hard-works. We have to make farm very year to sustain us with food .. Said yearly farm produce can not even take us for four months because of the many children. I have do a daily contract from some community dwellers for cash to meet our end means.
