How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am a dry fish seller and it has been my wished of increasing my business strength by buying more goods to sell. It is not really a new goal because I have been doing this business for a living for long now. But I have not had the means of increasing it. This fourth transfer has allowed me fulfilled my wished of purchasing more goods to expand my business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD has done extremely well for us (family and I) through it cash transfer model. Initially, it was unbelievable to me for an Organisation to provide phone with sim card and then transfer cash directly. But receiving the first transfer cancelled this doubt. I feel so happy for this organisation reaching us to improve our lives. As for things that GD is not doing well, I have not heard or seen anything of such and to my believe, I do not thinking such is happening given this organisation reputation through its staffs interaction.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my most recent transfer on buying more dry fish to increase my business strength. I live with my husband and children. It is through this business that my husband and I are able to support our children in school and provide food for the home.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, my new goal is to improve my house roof from thatch to zinc. For too long now my family and I have been living under this leaking thatch roof. Most time our things get wet because of this leaking roof. So, it is my goal to improve my house roof with zinc where my family and I will worry no more about leaking roof.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing well for us by giving money, phone and sim card. It is something we never imagine of happening. Through GiveDirectly I am now empower to improve my house roof with a zinc. So, I am very grateful to the family of GiveDirectly for reaching our village. Really, I have not seen any wrongful doing from GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I will spend my most recent transfer on the buying of zinc, nails and planks to improve my house roof from thatch to zinc. My family and I have suffered this leaking thatch roof for a long time now and we did not had means of improve it. But this third transfer received has certain my plan of improving our house roof with a zinc or an iron sheets.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I plan deep down in my heart that if I get some of this money I will buy a land and fight to build my house for my daughter and me.I was once in a relationship but my daughter father died;but before his death we build a house on his people land. After his death they drove my daughter and me saying we are not owners of the land. I left with my daughter and started struggling today the struggle landed me in chea's town were I am selling fish for living. My hope today that I should be accepted by GD to get some of this money to change my entire life, also to educate my daughter and bring shame to my in-laws. I know getting this money will be a life changing story for me because I will become a house owner very soon.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the past six months one of the biggest news and happiest;was a very big suprise gift of a landdeed given to me by a friend. I was so so happy that day that I cry, because that was my dream of wish I was blessed with. That brought me so much joy. Today I have my deed and my next plan is to start a house on it.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenges I am faced with now; is the day to day feeding of my daughter and her school fees every year. I am selling, but my selling is seasonal based on the rainny and dry season. When fish starts dying I make good business but when it seize then the financial hustle for me becomes very difficult. The well being and up keep of my child is my present challenges. I ask for help to family members but nothing. I am sure that GD will be a good help in this direction.
