Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The first time I received the first transfer I was so excited. I was on my way to my farms when I received my transfer. I have been living on a farm job just to survive. my children are been out of school, for the past year now. this has been my major concern about how my children will be in school and how to build my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that I'm about to have a new house with zinc and cement. my life has also improved because of the transfer. my children are in school with their friends. my daily meals have changed things have also changed as well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
A huge of my transfer was used for my children's tuition. some were also used for my house project. I just bought the first bundle of zinc. I pay my children's tuition for this year. I bought the first bundle of zinc and a few picks of nails. I'm awaiting my next transfer so that I can buy my balance zinc.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I plan to do business to help myself and to support my children. I am a single mother with 3kids. Two of them are in Buchanan with my sister going to school and the baby is here with me. I plant cassava to produce fufu and farina just to make ends meet. So when I receive my transfer, I will make business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I have not experienced happiness for a very long time because of the difficulties I am facing.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently I do not have anybody to help me financially. My children father abandoned me with the 3kids and married another woman. I have to struggle to feed my children and to support them by selling farina and fufu.
