How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The last transfer that I just received from a givedirectly program I'm going to use to complete my house. Before even receiving this last transfer I was thinking of starting a business that will help me and my family. I also pay my children's tuition and even bought them some schools material.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I went to tell givedirectly that they are the only NGO that I give credit to in Liberia. they are very transparent in their job as an NGO.givedirectly had changed the lives of my family and even the people of my village. I'm grateful to givedirectly for their level of support.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The most recent transfer that I just received from give directly I'm going to use part of it to pay my children's tuition. I'm thinking of getting a motorcycle for commercial purposes.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been hustling very hard to save enough money and complete my building project. It seemed impossible for me to realize my dream due to very low income received from farm work. Nonetheless, when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly, I bought building materials such as zinc, nails and cement to complete my house project and move in with my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has been very honest in delivering cash to poor people like us. With these transfers, my life has improved to a greater extend. I feel so blessed to be part of this program. I see nothing that GD is not doing well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My primary objective at the moment is to complete my house project. Hence, I used a huge portion of my transfer to purchase 2 bundles of zinc for $22,000LD. Portion of my transfer was also used to buy 10 bags of cement to plaster the walls of my house and also put floor. Furthermore, my balance transfer was used as transportation for materials and compensation for contractors working on my house.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal still remains the same that is to complete the construction of my house. As you can see, the roof of my house has been badly leaking especially during the rainy seasons. Most of the times, I have to traveled about an hour distance inorder to get new thatches to replace the old ones. I started building a new house last year but the lack of finance has been a challenge for me as farming is my only source of livelihood. I am happy and greatful that GiveDirectly came to this community this money which has helped me to build the house that I have wanted.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly done nothing wrong that I know of. As for what GiveDirectly is doing well, I can say that when GiveDirectly workers entered into this community, every house in this town was visited to determine eligible households. In this way, no household that is deserving to be enrolled was left out except where the household chooses not to be part of the program.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought zinc and gasoline to saw woods for the construction of my house. The recent transfer that I received I decided to use part of it to pay my children's school fees and the balance that left I used it to buy two bundles of zinc and six gallons of gasoline. As the remaining transfers came in, I bought other building materials such as nails, planks, and additional one bundle of zinc. I was also able to pay the contractors who I hired to build my house from the recent transfer.
