How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The only new goal that I have now is to finish with my house. I have been working for people just to get a bundle of zinc no way. Sometimes to even providing for my family was a difficult thing for me. my children were not in school because I don't have money to send them to school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly doing great job me and my family. I was living in old house with my family.But with the transfer that I'm receiving from givedirectly my life is about to change. I'm grateful to givedirectly for their support towards me and my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The most recent transfer that I just received from give directly I'm going to use part of it to pay my children's tuition. I'm thinking of getting a motorcycle for commercial purposes.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My dream is to complete my house project and expand my farm. I am building a 3 bedroom house that will be completed very soon. Most of my recent transfer will be invested in agriculture. Furthermore, the balance portion of my transfer will be used to buy building materials to complete my house. GD transfers has made my life better. I am grateful.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly as an integrity NGO has been very honest in delivering cash to poor people like us. I see nothing that GD is not doing well. It is a privilege for me to be selected as one of the beneficiaries of this program.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Two of my biggest dreams at the moment are to complete my house and also invest in agriculture. In doing so, I bought 2 bundles of zinc ($22,000LD) to roof my house. I also purchased 5 gallons of gasoline to saw plank and roof my house. Finally, the remaining portion of my transfer was used to buy a huge parcel of land for the extension of my farm.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I live in a one bedroom house with my family. The house has become too small to accommodate everyone. Therefore, I decided to build a bigger house. I was very pleased when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly. I have decided to build a 2 bedroom apartment for my family and I to move into. Recently, things have become better for me and my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My family and I live in a single room. This situation has become very uncomfortable due to limited space. However, GD transfers has changed my living condition. I am currently building a 3 bedroom apartment to move in with my family. This house will provide additional space and comfort. Finally, l feel so relieved that I am able to initiate this project through GiveDirectly financial assistance.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I want to build my own house. I have a family and I feel so bad staying in my father's with my husband and two children. I believe when I get this money, it will help me so much.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest day in my life was this gone first Sunday ( December 5,2021). I was happy to be counted amongst the living and I also used that time to rest, go to church and visit other family members.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The hard time I an facing right now is money. I have a little rice farm that is not enough to take care of my family and I have to go on others farm just to get daily bread for the family.
