What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing cutlery and utensils worth 1,500,000 UGX whuch my spouse sells as an income generating activity and the balance of the money I spent it on buying food for my family and for my treatment.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well to support me with the cash transfer and I am very happy for that. All in all there is no wrong that givedirectly has done.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before my life was badly off but these transfers helped my family alot. I am now healthy and my well being has greatly improved. I had a long-term back illness which I was able to treat with the cash transfers that I was sent.

I spent all my first transfer on buying a motorcycle because I wanted it to help me to get daily income to keep my family moving.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt extra happy that could not get back to sleep and waited for morning then rushed to buy a motorcycle.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I now have my motorcycle helping me to generate my daily income and I am in position to feed my family unlike before when my family and I could even starve.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face in life is lack of capital for my small fish business because one of my children seriously fell sick and I ended up using the income from fish business; leading to loss of capital ,now am expirencing hunger in my family because there is no serious source of money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is afternoon after lunch , my children are satisfied and start tell interesting stories that make me smile
What does receiving this money mean to you?
It is agreat opportunity receiving this money because I plan top in to my family business of selling fish ,saucepans that i do at Aligoi market and hiring agricultural land ,this will make my family get more money to improve our livelihood for example feeding ,educating my children and so on
