What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the second transfer on purchasing four cows and the balance of the money on purchasing household items.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly well by giving me the cash transfers and there is nothing wrong that give directly has not done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I received the cash transfer I was helpless. I had many debts and all my gardens had been mortgaged. But at the moment my life has changed and I am happier because I was able to pay all my debts and take back the possession of my gardens.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first tansfer on buying household items (beddings and chairs). I bought two cows, 6 chicken, food and paid off mortgage off 350,000 ugx.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received the money on my phone, happiness filled my heart.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference is that am living a happy life because i have been able to acquire what i desired in life. Am proud to own cows.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am facing is lack of money. Sometimes my family and i have had to go without food. This forced me to venture into a business of brewing local alcohol as a means of survival.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is usually in the afternoon when i have had lunch and i am relaxing and chatting with my neighbours.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i will be able to buy a piece of land to farm in, buy household items, livestock so that i can take milk.
