How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been working very hard to earn enough money to complete my house project. Due to low income, it seems unreal for me to achieve my goal. However, when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly, I bought building materials such as zinc, nails and cement to complete my house project and move in with my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The various methods employed by GiveDirectly in selecting qualified household to benefit from this program is unmatched. With these transfers, my life has improved immensely. I am so pleased with this program because my dreams wouldn't have come close to reality without GiveDirectly's financial assistance.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My primary objective at the moment is to complete my house project and move in with my family. Hence, I used a huge portion of my transfer to buy 2 bundles of zinc, nails and mixed nails for roofing purposes. Moreover, I purchased 6 bags of cement to put floor and plaster the walls of my house. My balance transfer was used as transportation.
