I spent my second transfer to buy land
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done well in that i have been able to acquire land of my own with the transfers sent to me.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is greater now in that i have land of my own. I didn't have land and used to rent for farming which was not sustainable for food production. Long live Givedirectly.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX400,000 to pay debts and UGX105,000 to purchase a mattress. I spent UGX700,000 and the rest was spent on food.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I had a longtime debt that was worrying me alot. However when I received the money, I felt happy because I was going to be debt free and concentrate on constructing a nice house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is much lively because I have accomplishedd my plan of constructing a house. I have also reposssed my piece of land that I had handed over as collateral.

The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is that my family does not have proper housing.

My happiest part of the day is during lunch time when my family has had a meal.

Receiving this money means that i will buy a plot of land for my family.
