What does receiving this money mean to you?
"If I get this money, I will use portion of it to fix my house, and use other one to send my grandchildren back to school. My house is old and the roof is leaking causing the walls to fall each time it rains. If I don't fix it, pretty soon the house will fall and I and my grandchildren will have nowhere to sleep. I want my house to stay longer so that my grandchildren can live in it when I am gone. During raining seasons we experience heavy pull of water in the house spoiling our things. It's make us sick each time. Having the house fixed, it I will at least have peace. My big daughter died 2 years ago and left behind 3 children. The usually come home, and this where they can stay. I am their everything, and I don't want to have problem with living place. The portion of the money with be us to send my grandchildren to school. Like I said, their mother died, and no one to pay their school fees. If I send them to school tomorrow they will live a better live, and will be happy wherever I will be.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Over the past six months, what really make me happy was July 26, 2021. My son sent me money to celebrate the day. This make happy because I never had money to celebrate with my grandchildren. On that day some of my grandchildren came to spent the season with me. With this money, we had a very beautiful family time.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My main problem now is with food. I don't have money to buy food for me and my 2 grandchildren. My husband that use to help me to make farm and do other things to ensure we have money to feed the house, died last year April. Sine his death I don't have anybody to help me with money to buy food or make farm. The little things I'm selling, I begged my brother for money before I started selling, and it's not making good profit to feed my family. We eat sometimes one time in a day. My main problem is that I don't have money to feed my grandchildren wit sufficient food. I also want money to send my grandchildren back to school. Since their mother died, it's difficult getting them in school. The people they are living with, they have to sell before the pay their school fees. I can feel sorry for them because, if their mother was alive, I know things were going to be different.
