How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I have been able to meet most of my family's needs without having to borrow money from either my friends or relatives. I feel so proud and at peace, because I do not owe anyone. At the same time, I have acquired two goats which will act as assets in the future when hopefully they shall reproduce and increase in number and guarantee me financial support whenever I sell some.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to save the monthly transfers that will serve as capital for setting out a small shop business. Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life daily life for the last four months is that I have been able to do quality farming. Before, I used to wait until my neighbors have harvested their produce so that I can hire laborers at a cheaper wage. This was very expensive and inconveniencing. I am glad that I have been able to afford the farm input and pay labor in time for the preparation of my farm for the short rainy season.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I majorly rely on farming as the main source of income but since I have a small piece of land I have always got limited production from it. Therefore, I expect in the next six months to use the coming transfers in renting an acre of land farm where I will expand my farming. With this, I will have an assuring improved produce.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In my life, I have always depended on farming as my main source of income. Since I have always used local methods to farm, I have not managed to get the kind of harvest I have always wanted. The harvest has not been much from using local seeds and without fertilizers. I had desired to have an improved harvest but I could not manage because I did not have the resources to use advanced methods. Therefore when I started receiving these transfers, I used them to buy hybrid maize seed and fertilizers which I have used on my farm. I am glad to say my harvest has really improved from the usual 2 sacks to 7 sacks of maize in the last two harvest. This has really changed my life.

I expect my life to change in the six months in that I will have renovated my kitchen. This is where my grandchildren always sleep and they have a difficult time sleeping in it especially during the rainy season. I would want to end the struggle once and for all by renovating the kitchen roof. I want to give them my best.
