How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have hope of sleeping in a better house compared to the situation before, where I used to sleep in a grass thatched house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well by giving unconditional cash transfers to the vulnerable people. They need to cover other places that have not yet been supported.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second cash transfer worth 1,633,000ugx, I used it for buying bricks worth 900,000ugx, 10 bags of cement equivalent of 300,000ugx and saved 433,000ugx.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am now stress free and happy. I had very many worries because I did not have money to do whatever my heart desired.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received a mobile money I became so happy and excited. I thanked God for the gift of give directly.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I am planning to purchase construction materials for a two roomed house. I also plan to spend a portion for the transfer for medical care.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I have completed my garden work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is the sickness of my children. Most of them are diagnosed with diabetes which is too expensive to treat
